What a great trip with Copes on their private charter. This was one of their ultra limited load trips, opened up to only 20 anglers, so everyone had almost more yacht than they knew what to do with! Weather was beautiful and the seas were calm with sunny skies and summer weather. The bite was strong with the deep drops yielding limits of reds and big rockfish that had the gunny sacks overflowing by the time we moved into the shallower water to look for lings. Those were on the chew also, with 12 being landed to top off already overflowing bags!
