Good fishing on the Pearl's 3/4 day. 20 anglers, and beautiful conditions brought in 7 lings and roughly 8 around on various rockfish that included reds, canaries, blues, olives, coppers and the other usual suspects,
Fish seeemed to prefer smaller, simpler setups today, but Hook Up Baits were the big winner in the 1.5 size (double rigged on a 3-way swivel...taking jackpot for HUB loyalist Jeremy, and producing a rockfish limit of sizable fish. This setup is consistently a winner for quantity and quality of fish, but does require the ability to cast a good way away from the boat
